Sales Tax Exemption (bill): House Bill 2935 would remove all state sales tax from hybrid vehicles that are at least twenty-five percent (25%) higher than the miles per gallon rating designated for a comparable model that does not have hybrid characteristics. H.B. 2935 died in the House Revenue & Taxation committee on 5/13/05.
