Oregon Hybrid vehicle purchase Tax Incentives

Business Tax Credit: A Business Energy Tax Credit is available for the purchase of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) and dual-fuel vehicles, the cost of converting vehicles to operate on an alternative fuel, and the cost of constructing alternative fuel refueling stations. The tax credit is 35% of the incremental cost of the system or equipment and is taken over five years. Residential Tax Credit: A Residential Tax Credit of up to $1,500 is available for the purchase of a HEV or dual-fuel vehicle. A credit is also available for the purchase of an OEM alternative fuel vehicle, and the cost of converting vehicles to operate on an alternative fuel.
